Medicare Advantage Plans

According to Medicare.gov, in Maricopa county there are 41 Medicare Advantage Plans with drug coverage. In Pima county, there are 29 Medicare Advantage Plans available.

Which Plan Is Right For You?

With all of the different plans to choose from, how do you know what plan is right for you?

That’s where I can help!  As a licensed insurance broker in Arizona who is contracted with a variety of different insurance carriers, I can provide you with the valuable service of explaining the differences between each Medicare Advantage plan. I can then provide you with a personalized needs analysis and cost comparison so that you can make an informed decision and choose the Medicare Advantage plan that’s right for you.

Medicare Advantage, also known as “Part C”

Medicare Advantage, also known as “Part C” are Medicare Plans offered by Private Insurance Companies and approved by Medicare.

The types of Medicare Advantage Plans I am contracted with are HMO plans that include Part D coverage (Medicare Prescription Drug Plan) and without Part D. To qualify for a Medicare Advantage Plan you must have both Part A and Part B.

Medicare Advantage Plans are required to cover as much as Original Medicare. Many plans choose to cover additional benefits such as dental, eyewear and gym memberships.

Special Needs Plans

Special Needs Plans are Medicare Advantage Plans that have specific eligibility requirements.

Dual Eligible Plans are Special Needs Plans for people who have both Medicare and Medicaid. Another type of Special Needs Plan is for people who have a chronic or disabling condition such as Diabetes or Chronic Heart Failure.

If you qualify for one of these Special Needs Plans, you have a Special Election Period (SEP) to join the plan throughout the year and don’t have to wait for the Annual Election Period in October 15th – December 7th each year.

I WORK WITH ALL MAJOR MEDICARE INSURANCE CARRIERS FOR OUR AREA. HOWEVER I WORK FOR YOU!

Please call me at (520) 395-6475 for a personalized, complimentary consultation to review the Medicare Advantage Plans available to you.
